Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NaviPlan (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the NaviPlan web application and website (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

NaviPlan is designed to be privacy-friendly. The routes, stops, drivers, customers and settings you create are stored locally in your browser (via local storage) — not on our servers. We do not require an account to use the Service.

• Route & app data — addresses, stops, time windows, driver and customer names you enter. Stored only in your browser.
• Location — if you use “detect my location”, your device's coordinates are used once to centre the map and are not stored by us.
• Payment data — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your card details.
• Account data — if you create an account (needed only for paid plans), we store your email address and your plan/subscription status with our backend provider, Supabase. The free Service needs no account.

2. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your routes, language and preferences so they persist between visits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. For anonymous, aggregate usage statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track individual visitors.

3. Third-party services

To provide maps and live data, the Service sends necessary requests (such as addresses or map coordinates) to third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• OpenStreetMap, Nominatim & Photon (Komoot) — address search & geocoding
• OSRM — route calculation
• Open-Meteo — weather
• Overpass API — nearby fuel, EV and parking points
• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — account sign-in and storage of your email and plan
• SendGrid — sending account emails (confirmation, password reset)

4. Data retention

Because your app data lives in your browser, you control it. Clearing your browser storage removes it. If you have an account, you can ask us to delete it and your stored email at any time by contacting us. We retain payment and billing records only as required by our payment processor and applicable law.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
